3rd Grade Classroom Connection

Meet your teachers for this year...

Mrs. Barlow
Welcome to third grade! This will be an exciting and demanding
year for your children. Ms. Meyer and I are currently assessing
each child's current knowledge in reading, writing, and math. This
will enable us to teach each child at their individual level. The
most intense learning each day will occur during guided reading.
This is when the students will be divided into small groups
(2-5 students) and will receive individualized reading instruction.
We are fortunate to have up to 5 teachers available during this
time. This will enable us to give each child individual attention.
Also, please remember that parent involvement in children's
learning positively affects the child's school performance and
social emotional development. Please read with your children at
home and feel free to call me anytime.

Miss Meyer
Hello and welcome to the third grade! This is my first full year here at
Pinnacle, and I am extremely excited to be working with all of you! I
will be Mrs. Barlow's teaching assistant, and I am determined to do
what I can to help your child succeed both inside and outside of the
classroom. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns,
or suggestions you have to make this year the best year ever! Both Mrs.
Barlow and I both hope to have you involved during this very special
year for your child. We will be learning a lot and doing many fun
activities in Room 203. I look forward to a very exciting and rewarding
year. I am sure that all of you will REACH HIGHER every single day!
