The Pinnacle Charter School is a new charter school to the Western New York area. Opened in September 2003 with grades K-3, the school has a Communications focus as designed by local educators. Students attend from 8:30 – 4:00 and follow a trimester schedule (September – August with 3-4 week intermittent breaks). Students (eventually K-8) benefit from a looping program, differentiated instruction, and foreign language exploration program.

The school utilizes a Coalition of Essential Schools philosophy while designing inquiry-based, thematic units. The school boasts an exclusive Professional Development program.
